The only other thing I can think of is that your AllowOverride directive
isn't set on that machine for some reason..

This is really lame, but I have a RaQ4 that will not allow htaccess Now,
I have many RaQ4's that do..
I have compared the files between a good server and this one, I see no
diff. in any of the files.
Now what am I missing?
The thing has webalizer on it and none of the stats directories work
either.
I don't need a .htaccess how2,
It must have something to do with Auth
