hey guys,

been a while since i posted to the list.  have been slammed developing 
sites.

found this on /. just now, maybe it will inspire the good folks at sun 
to clarify their stance on support for raq4:

thankfully, my little raq2 has been humming along for some time now, 
and only down for a massive powerfailure at the colo (lost the whole 
neighborhood for a day).

sadly, most of the /. comments i saw took the opportunity to compare 
the good folks at sun to m$, i hope for their sake, they resolve it 
quickly, and post the fix announcement to /. to wrap the deal.  i have 
a much higher regard for them, than i do the evil empire.
