RE: [cobalt-users] RAQ550 Stats stopped working after unsuccessful update



Yeah, you're right...
I've manually renamed the .htaccess file and have tried a few different
things (see below), to try and force the b0x to re-create the .htaccess
file...

I have tried adding new users (and making them Site Administrators),
deleting all users, changing site settings (enabling / disabling ftp /
cgi / php, etc), enabling / disabling the site, even tried renaming the
hostname for the domain, but I can't force it to recreate a .htaccess
file automatically.


I think removing and re-adding the site might fix it, but since the
problem wasn't cause by us end-users in the first place, I don't feel
like doing that to 200 web sites, so Cobalt better come up with a
solution / fix for this one.

But if anyone else knows how to fix it in the meantime, please let us
know - thanks in advance =)

I'm having the same problem, seems to be the .htaccess file in the
stats/ folder. If i remove the .htaccess, stats works, but without
access control :(
