[cobalt-users] RaQ4r drive upgrade: 30 >> 40GB?

I have a client with a 4r that needs a drive replaced. Both drives in the
box are currently Maxtor 30GB's. For a variety of reasons I'd prefer to
upgrade to 40GB drives. Here's the question, if I drop in a new 40GB in the
B (secondary, or left) position, will the 30GB mirror to it? Obviously, the
intent would be to mirror over to the new 40GB drive, then move it to the
primary position and install the second 40GB drive.

Yes, I know how particular the software RAID setup can be, that's why I'm
asking.  :-)

Theoretical replies appreciated but would really like to hear from anyone
who's actually DONE it. If this doesn't work, the only way I know to
accomplish the task at hand is to remove the secondary, clone it to a 40GB,
and use partition magic or similar to resize /home. Any other ideas?
