Miva significantly changed their distribution as of Miva Empresa
version 4. The biggest change is that the Miva virtual machine
present in Miva Empresa now is a compiled application for your
architecture. While they have instructions and compiled VMs for
Linux/UNIX systems, the UNIX installation instructions leave a lot to
be desired in how it interacts with your RaQ. This mostly because in
order to create virtual sites that are Miva-enabled, they want you to
add a pile of krunk to *each* and *every* <virtualhost> directive in
your Apache configuration that you want to be Miva-enabled. This
isn't really the optimum way to do it on the RaQ.
Has anyone figured out how to upgrade to the latest Miva Empresa/Miva
Merchant on their RaQs such that the basic set-up for doing virtual
sites is the same as for the 3.94 version which had a RaQ3/RaQ4
package file? If so, could you post instructions on how to configure
it to work the same way as the 3.94 installation?
Thanks!
