Mike,

The only way around this issue is to not use the GUI for Majordomo. I do 
all the Admin from SSH/Telnet using vi and adding users will not change 
your config if you add them using the email subscribe system. This is the 
way most of the majordomo list I use are handled. This is how you do it on 
most other Linux systems also.
