Can anyone help, from the replies I am not the only person with this problem
and no solution.

Go into your "/etc/cobalt/swatch" directory, and configure the ports that
your services are using. Swatch is what Cobalt uses to monitor any of the
services found in your Active Monitor. You can modify / change / delete
or do whatever you want with them. Since you are using an SSL connection,
chances are it may not be able to connect. I do NOT know, do a search
for swatch on a newsgroup, and see if you can find how what it looks for.
You may be able to change the port in the /etc/cobalt/swatch/services/xxx
where xxx is the name of what you want to monitor.
You can then run the daemon to make sure everything took.
