Hi All
I have a client who wants to give us his web and mail hosting.
They run Microsoft Exchange in the office as a mail server and are using it
through a dial up to collect emails from their ISP. They are talking about
needing SMTP relay for this, I am having trouble getting exactly what they
want (as I think they don't quite know themselves) they say it is not just
POP3 collection they need.
I assume the dial up will be dynamic IP allocation, so it will not be a case
of setting up our server as a secondary mailserver.
Has anyone had any experience of setting this up and if so is it a big deal
or not?
Any help/pointers would be helpful.
Regards
Paul.
