Looks like it's related to sending email from a CGI. Do you have a
user trying to do that??

more insight into the sendmail process.

deals with the transcript file specifically (temp collection of error
messages created during an attempted message send), named
/var/spool/mqueue/xf* (or, on the Cobalts, /home/spool/mqueue/xf*).
So I'm guessing either a directory with bad permissions, or the
mail-sending CGI doesn't have permission somehow...
