Yes I did see an image of some roms on Tim Hockins wonderful area that will
help you or you could just use an existing RaQ4 and take an image from that
if you want to go back.

Just to add to Bruce's comments earlier about the RaQ550 being an
intelligent RaQ4 build with regards to Raid - I can extend that further by
telling you that the RaQ550 software runs perfectly on a RaQXTR as well and
even detects whether it has 1,2,3 or 4 drives - a big improvement on the XTR
software I can tell you more over the Rom upgrade seems to fix some of the
XTR problems on the older XTRs - had one running now since just after the
550 was launched stable as a rock.

The biggest worry is doing the Rom upgrade as Gerald found out - the best
way to do this really is probably to do it separately from the OSRCD that
way you can check if its worked or not before rebooting whereas the CD can
sometimes think it has worked and reboot when in fact it hasn't and you get
the end result that Gerald did.
