I have just discovered that these two issues are related, at least for me.
After a CMF restore a large number of very wierd files arrived in my /root/
folder, e.g. this is the name of one of them....
o???ve-?o3?m?[o??Z?U??)?nyu?|e[8K??WE,I?"?)?IIEU6ia|m?Aq?EZ?C7?FA-le?neNYxcp
q.??I0?a!A2??d?ZAorVU?a?
and they are all similar. It looks like CMF restore is not so stable
afterall.
The slocate database manages to build itself, but when the locate command
gets to this point in the database it returns an error, naturally.
So the simple solution should be to delete these files, but how do I do
that? I cant call the files and commands like rm * only return errors too.
So how do you delete a bogus file with a crazy name?
