[cobalt-users] Root folder junked

Hi

One one of my boxes I have noticed that the folder root has around 50
weird files in it. It looks like one of my guys has messed up a copy
command somewhere and the contents of some files have been put in the
rot folder, but each file name is actually html code from within one
file.

Whilst this does not seem to be causing the system any problems I would
like it gone.

Can I create a new folder called root, delete the old folder and give
the new folder the same permissions and group ownership?
