[cobalt-users] FTP SERVER PROBLEMS !

Hello, 
Now I have separate problem of FTP server coming up with following
errors, 
When I run # tail /var/log/messages
It is defined in  /etc/proftpd.conf file as # Set the user and group
that the server normally runs at.
User                            nobody
Group                           nobody

Should I rename the users or else!!  Help help help going down !!!!

Now I have new problem This is strange Inet says it is working from SSH
but it is yellow with problem in GUI

I do not see a relation between SSH and FTP to be quite honest .. except
that they both rely on the inetd if I am not mistaken.

try ...

/etc/rc.d/init.d/inet restart

.. your connection might get dropped.

did you check the dates of the files?
