What version of OS for the Mac?
OS 9 we used VicomSoft FTP utility and it worked great, they did have a
shareware version, but have since quit offering, searching download.com may
dig up the older one.
OS X was a pain to find a decent FTP app. We ended up doing RBrowser, they
make a free one, but the professional version is better, has ssh, sftp and
regular ftp features and works great, cost $50.00 for full profesional
license.
