[cobalt-users] mysql and httpd is giving me errors

hi

Im getting the following error in my httpd error log, and php/mysql
doesnt work anymore.

in the 'NONEXISTENT/charsets/Index' file

It is on a system where im pretty sure there is a ram or harddisk
problem (I have notices weird chars in files I have never opened, and
working things have started to break - no it is not hacked). 

any idea on how to fix this problem.
I have restored /usr/share/mysql/* from a backup taken at at time where
it was working.
