Gerald,
	The files are in /var/db because libpwdb is used on the RAQ550s.

	Use the Perl Module "PWDB" (more info by typing "perldoc PWDB") to access
the files.  PWDB is a wrapper around the BTREE DBM functions but contains
lots of functions to easily update those files, without having to access the
DBM files directly.  If you know Perl, you can migrate the MD5 hash
passwords over after initially creating them.

	You can also use this program to easily read BTREE DBM files, just to do a
quick dump and see whats in there.

Hope this helps!  I've never used the CMU so I have no idea how it migrates
passwords.  I am planning on a RAQ550 -> RAQ550 move so I was going to use
the CMU.  I hope it will move the passwords!  Sun should allow the user
import/export to export the raw password hash too, I really don't know WHY
they make the password be the username or random, when it's easy to get the
hash instead.

Yes, I found that out! /var/db/ But they are binary, you can't read those
files. I wonder if the CMU was supposed to migrate the passwords???
