Re: [cobalt-users] dns on a raq 550

I Had this same problem and the fix is to use Global Forwards. But know
this, it seems to slow everything down. E-mails take longer to clear
the outbox on user's pc's. I ended up using separate NS1.DOMAIN.com and
NS2.Domain.com.

Here is info on forwards:
Forwarders are configured on a server wide setting. Basically a
forwarder says to the DNS server, if I don't know the answer to the
query check this dns server before returning an error.

On RaQ 4 go to Control Panel -> DNS parameters -> Server Settings, there
should be a box call forwarding server. Point it to the IP address of
the RaQ550

On the RaQ550 Click on the DNS Parameters field, no matter which domain
you are in you will get a Server Settings option under Add... Point it
to the IP address of the RaQ4.

I hope that this helps.
