I've discovered a really nasty bug in the RaQ550. When you change a site
name, all of the services that the site has (PHP, CGI, etc.) break.
This bug has bitten me where it really hurts -- namely, when I move
production sites over to my servers. I always give the sites a temporary
name (for instance, newsite.simpli.biz) for testing, and then switch
them over to the real name (e.g. newsite.com) when I'm ready to go live
with them. This has resulted in two rather large websites, which are
based on PHP, to completely break when they go live. (The browser
prompts to save the file because PHP, CGI, etc. are not enabled.)
This is an awful bug, and a rather large one at that. Is there a
timeframe for fixing it? I hesitate to sell these servers when this bug
has already bitten me twice. This needs to be FIXED ASAP.
Erica
P.S. I'm posting this to that silly support forum site as well, but I'm
hoping to get a better response from here.
