[cobalt-users] need info about manual backup raq4

hi all

i would like try to backup all file of all virtual site of my server...and i
never do that.

I have read the raq manual...and is appear is not big deal...

Before trying i would like more info about eventual problem i can get...

So if i make a manual backup...a get a unique file in .raq...and this file
must come to
my computer...but this file are compressed i think....or not ?? because if i
backup all site
and all site have maybe 2 gigabytes total size...i hope to not get a to much
big .raq file..

If for example one days i get a big crash of my server...i just need to
restore this file
using the admin panel...but in this case..i keep all exact config of my file
???
I worry especially about all many cgi scripts installed..with chmod
setting...

Is also write in the manual " the system restores data only..it does not
restore virtual site or site users "....
So what is it exactly ??? if i undestand i can restore all file...but i must
before re-created all virtual site manually with all corresponding users ???
and maybe with all same username and password before the crash ??? i hope
no....

thanks in advance for any more info about backup and of the better and
secure system for make that....i thinks the backup is not the big
problem...but i can be the restoring the true problem..
