[cobalt-users] Server Overload

Hi,

One of my Raq4 servers was being severely overloaded yesterday.
The server normally runs at loads of around 1 - 2, yesterday it was
averaging 15 with peaks of around 28.

Even when Apache, sendmail, asp were turned off loads were about
8. We have checked it for hacks and it seems fine, and there
were no obvious customer scripts running. It just did not make any
sense.

I then had a look in the tmp directory and found several files named
similarly, one was 500+ Mb the other 600+ Mb both created yesterday
at around the times we had problems. Is there anyway I can trace
what or who created them?
