[cobalt-users] weird errors - ram or harddisk ?

Hi
One RaQ3 box here, has started to act weird. Pictures on the vsites are
suddently filled with errors (colors are wrong etc) and script files
suddently have errors like £$@ chars in wrong places.
To me it seems like if it is an harddisk or ram error, but how do I find
the correct source of the errors. 
some of the errors appear in files that we have never touched (like
files from a tarfile we just untared - a tarfile that worked on another
box).

Any ideas?
