In my mail log I get the following three lines every 15 minutes. How do
we correct this OR is this really an error?
Nov 8 08:15:01 www sendmail[6535]: NOQUEUE: localhost [127.0.0.1] did
not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during connection to MTA
Nov 8 08:15:01 www imapd[6546]: imap service init from 127.0.0.1
Nov 8 08:15:01 www imapd[6546]: Logout user=??? host=localhost
[127.0.0.1]
</snip>
If you look at the address making the request (localhost [127.0.0.1]) its the machine itself.
i.e. its active monitor checking that the service is still running/responding.
Perfectly normal.

Andy
