Not sure how specific this is to Cobalt's, but I am having an issue with a
reverse record.
I have a customer that runs their own mail server. I run their DNS on my
RAQ. I have pointed the mx record to the ip of their mail server and
everything works ok as far as that goes.
The problem seems to be with the reverse PTR record. The owner of the IP
has delegated authority for the IP to me so I can add the PTR record. Yet
when I add the PTR record in the DNS of the RAQ it doesn't seem to work and
propagate out.
Am I missing something?
Any help is GREATLY appreciated...this has been a thorn...
