Firewall:
ipfwadm is as good a firewall as any, it's all in the rule definitions.
There is an rpm on the cobalt ftp site
DNS:
Bind-8.3.3 will compile and run on a RaQ2,
We use them on RaQ2s and Qube2s.
IIRC you need flex but there is a flex RPM on the cobalt ftp site.
