Kinda depends if you are running POP before SMTP.
If you are, I have noticed that sometimes you end up with multiple entries
in the sendmail.cf, or worse
none at all for checking the popip.db.
I have found that when this happens, either copy the sendmail.cf.nopopauth
(or something like that .. for some strange reason, it does actually
include the pop before smtp authentication) over your normal sendmail.cf ..
and then do a restart of the sendmail ... also make sure the poprelayd is
running.
If this does not help .. you might need to create a new map hash for the
popip.db.
... on the other hand, if you are not using pop before smtp ... Gerard is
quite right .. just add the domains you want to let be able to send out email.
frgds,
Jake.

I recall coming across this before but for the life of me can't recall what
was causing it. I'm more than a little brain dead after a all night
emergency rebuild on the box.
Would someone please give me a hand/direction as to the cause.
FYI - Emails going to other users on the same domain is no problem.
