OK..I will check the group the scrpt belongs to... I had already
shutdown portsentry as it would have been stupid to try and uninstall a
running program

OK.
It is then one of two things:
1. That PortSentry is running
2. Or the Un-installer script belongs to another group other than root.
Thats why the root has no permission to execute. Could be someone
changed the
group manually.
