Hi,
My name's Jeff and I'm a newbie - at least here. I've searched all the
knowledgbases, the archives, and read the list for the past couple of days,
but I just can't find anything that pertains to this particular situation.
Like a bonehead, I put the wrong DNS Server settings in for the primary NIC
for my RAQ4i. Now the only way I can get into it at all is through telnet.
There is a terribly long response time as the poor thing tries to resolve
the DNS that's wrong, then it will finally work OK.
HERE'S MY QUESTION:
Is there a way to change the DNS settings for the primary NIC through the
command line interface? They must be stored in a file somewhere.... It's too
bad that you can't do that from the front panel like you can change the IP
and everything - well, it's too bad for me - they probably didn't count on
dorks like me running these things.
Any and all suggestions will be most welcome!
Jeff
