RE: [cobalt-users] [RAQ3] .pkg install failure - where are the error logs?

I tried this - it failed with:

Yes, I found a previously botched MySQL install which I can't ever remember attempting - it was a 3.22.32 install - so I removed it using:

rpm -i MySQL-3.22.32

Which removed it successfully - then I removed the /home/mysql folder (it's not in use, so I completely removed the database folder).

I've also removed all the /usr/bin/mysql* files and I still get the following when I unpack the .pkg file and run the install manually:

file /usr/bin/mysqlbug from install of MySQL-3.23.37-1 conflicts with file from package MySQL-client-3.22.32-1
4015 Problem installing package component: MySQL-3.23.37-1.i386.rpm
Installed RPMS:


Well - the file /usr/bin/mysqlbug doesn't even exist - so I'm wondering how and where it thinks the file still exists?!?

Then I ran the cobalt_upgrade from the shell prompt again on the .pkg file and got the 4015 errors listed above.  Any ideas how to resolve these?
