There is an alternative to finding an sFTP client if you have a preference
for any particular FTP client that you want to use that does not support the
protocol:
You can use the ssh.com Secure Shell Client that _does_ tunnel FTP
connections. You create a tunnel entry with a local port of something like
2021 in the Client, login using the SSH Client which establishes the tunnel
and then simply point your FTP client to your PC localhost on port 2021
(instead of 21) and it establishes and sFTP connection through SSH to
ProFTPD and it works fine:

There's an added benefit that the SSH Client comes with a built-in sFTP
client anyway, but using it's tunnelling abilities means you can use any FTP
client, though it is a two step connection process.
