Hi,
I've scanned past posts regarding routing and ip forwarding on the
Cobalt's, however am at a loss. Hoping someone can shed some light.
I have a Cobalt Qube3 having interfaces e0: 10.4.29.1 (internal) and e1:
10.4.1.2 (external), I have an internet gateway at 10.4.1.1, and that is
set as the cobalt's default gateway. Both are class c networks.
The Cobalt can get out to the internet no problem, and so does the
10.4.29.x network when I have "Forward with masquerading" turned on.
However, I prefer not to NAT at the cobalt, and would like the cobalt to
simply forward the packets without masquerading/translating - easy, turn
on "Forward packets only...".
Once I do that, the 10.4.29.x network cannot get beyond the cobalt.
