An 'rpm -qa' shows 271 packages on the raq I just looked at. I'm willing to bet
that all 271 could use a little work. If we look at the list of packages in
alphabetical order... the first one is Authen::PAM. The version I have installed
on my raq4r is 0.04-1. The latest version is 0.14. So, basically we're only 10
versions and five years behind. 

I think one of the most difficult things we would/will experience would be
getting the packages in the right spots and working just like the old ones did.
For several things I can see configfile incompatibilities arising that would at
the very least require us to do patches to the Cobalt UI in order to maintain
the functionality.

This may be easy to script if we can produce diffs and then just do a patch
against a known version on the OS restore CD.
