Hiya.
The problems I've been having with my XTR seem to all be related to /very/ out of date PHP & Apache.
Apache claims it is 1.3.20 (I'm hoping Sun fixed the security issues with this), and PHP claims it is 4.0.6 (Believe there were recent security issues with this too).
I'm running Apache 1.3.26 and PHP 4.2.2 on my dev systems.
I need these later versions - there's sites I've developed that simply will not work on the cobalt due to things not being there.
pkgmaster doesn't have an update for either of these, and I'm worried that just compiling & installing over the top will completely break things (has anybody done this on the XTR's?)
Anybody know why the stuff on the XTR seems to be so out of date? Have Sun abandoned the XTR line completely or something, and are not supporting it anymore?
R
