There shouldn't be much of a pause. You most likely have one or more of
the following problems:

- incompatible NIC in the workstation
- more than one NIC in the workstation
- more than one CDROM in the workstation

Before the RaQ reboots itself, you should see the following steps happen
in the LCD:

- hard drive partitioning/formatting
- RPM install (takes the longest)

For diagnostics you can connect a second machine to the serial port of
your RaQ with a null modem cable, run a terminal emulator, and watch the
messages scroll by. That will tell you exactly where it's hanging.
