there is a nifty core function of squirrelmail called the MOTD, maybe you've heard of this? mine reads:No, since I never used squirrelmail, I haven't.
wait a minute. are you saying that your raq still has its warranty? sm has something just like a typical shell account has. you know /etc/motd . . . . . hmm, interesting. you think that's air your breathing? (had to make the matrix reference, sorry, its early, i'm tired). its the same idea as the message of the day in unix systems. and now you know, in fact, its a main option (number 7 i think) in the ./configure program for squirrelmail.
oh, i didn't mention it before, but sm has a command line gui for configuration, outstanding. just go to the sm directory and type
./configure greatly simplifies matters.
"Welcome to the New and Improved Revengers Hosting Webmail. There are numerous new features. Just click on the Options link above to personalize your webmail. Email any questions or comments to grant@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx . Enjoy!" the reply to address is right at the top. maybe this would be a rather technical fix to the problem, but i have no complaints thus far.The Reply-to: and the From: address are vastly different. Try subscribing to this list using an email address that is different from the From: address.
you're absolutely right. however, sm allows you to change both. options, personal prefs.
