RE: [cobalt-users] RAQ4R - RAID Drive Failure



Decided to go the safe route and do as you suggested.. we to had a wacky
situation that was very puzzling as we had a couple of drives that had been
pulled out of a Qube3 and forgot what they were out of and eventually
installed them in a Raq3 and the system took on the personality of a Qube3.

Learned something about Cobalt compatibility there...

We had a problem similar to this a few months ago, I'd suggest at least
deleting the partitions on the new drive. We somehow managed to get the
drive to boot from the new drive, and it was rather confusing for a
while because it was from another RaQ.
