[cobalt-users] Ftp time differs from server time

I have a problem with the time stamps on files uploaded via ftp. Each file
uploaded shows a creation date of five hours after the files actual creation
date.
EXAMPLE:
The server says 2:19pm, but when a file is uploaded it says creation time
was 7:19.
WHAT I TRIED:
-I checked and reset my server time settings.
-I checked and rest the client computer time settings
-I issued the date command on the server and got the correct time.
-When I uploaded a file, the file info shows a creation time that is five
hours different than what was stated by the date command.
How can I upload files via ftp and have them show the correct time of
creation?
Thanks
Tom
