The URL was in the message. If you had read it you would have seen that,
and you would have seen it has no effect on a Cobalt server unless
someone had downloaded the mentioned Sendmail package to replace
Sendmail on their RaQ between Sept. 28 and Oct. 5. Very unlikely on the
Users list.

Yes, I did read the message, and I probably just ignored reading URL's, I read the meat of it and yes I know it only had to do with Sendmail downloads during a certain date range. And there were MANY posts about all sorts of downloading/installing various mail-methods over the last few days, so yes I thought it was appropriate!!!!

Why do you need to publicly flame me, as least I read this from a post last week:
----------
4.7. Don't criticise someone else's spelling and grammar. In fact, in
general, do not flame. If you wouldn't make the same comment
face-to-face with someone twice your size, don't say it.
---------- (by the way, cringe, criticize is mipselled, at least in American-English, not sure if England and other spell if differently :)

And I did read that entire post, and that is why I purposely left it intact except for a bunch of headers - if there is ONE person on this list that did install that version of Sendmail, I would think that person would be very glad to have the entire post, including the part about how to subscribe to the CERT Advisory list.

And, if your email did not end with: *Please reply to the list only. Offlist replies are not read.* - I would have written this to you personally and not the entire list.

So either get off my back or dump me off the list, I and no one else deserves this.

END OF THIS THREAD!!!!!!
