No.

It's a linux limitation as to how many groups a user can belong to. I
think it's something like 23, but i'm not sure. The RaQ uses group
ownership for write permissions in the web directory.

Use SCP2 as root. But note that it's a slower protocol and that lots of
people don't recommending using scp2/ssh as root.
