The error log is containing entries like this (for various sites on the
server, and various scripts):
[Wed Oct 2 20:12:28 2002] [error] [client 24.148.32.115] malformed header
from script. Bad header=orders@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx: /usr/cgiwrap/cgiwrap
All of these scripts worked without error prior to applying the patches....
after applying the patches it's going to suddenly not like the headers ?
Seems to be primarily in scripts that are heading towards sendmail .....
since the same exact error occurs on unrelated sites and scripts.. I deduce
it to not be a problem with the programming of one individual script, nor
permissions, as the permissions are fine (as in allowing it to execute etc.)
And since the error log stats cgiwrap .. I'm looking in that direction....

If you aren't even getting that wonderful cgi-wrap error web page, then you
have deeper problems. Have you checked your server logs? It may just tell
you exactly what happened.

Check and make sure that permissions haven't been changed.
Rule of thumb for me-The simplest answer is the answer.
