[cobalt-users] Qube3: recover root password - repost, original never appeared

If this appears twice all of a sudden, my apologies - it's 2 hours and nothing so far, so I'm reposting:


I've just fired up my used Qube3, which we purchased on Ebay, and hit the reset to clear the previous admin password, but it appears this doesn't clear the root password... if it does, then it gets reset to something different to the admin password.

Can anyone advise what it gets reset to (if anything); alternatively, can is the a procedure to regaining a lost root password on a Qube3.

For the record, I have telnet working for admin, but no root password (and the admin password doesn't work for su - root).
