I needed to do exactly that, so I sorta cheated. I just had a friend write a
script that ran on an hourly cron job.
Whenever a user was added, such as "user@xxxxxxxxxx" it would automatically
edit the httpd.conf and create user.domain.com and point to the users web
folder already set up. and it would restart httpd, of course. If the changes
existed, it went to the next user.
Anyone that is really good with linux scripting and whip that up for you.
don't look in this direction... i get enough flack for being a win fan :)
