I was creating a hard drive for a Qube1 (a Qube1 that can't be restored), and
was surprised that once you apply all the patches that Active Monitor starts
emailing Drive Full alerts.
These are 10.2GB drives (we do 20 and 30GB also).
I changed the partition table to use 1GB for '/', 256MB for 'swap', and 500MB
for '/var'. Seems a little wasteful, but does allow room to grow.
I am surprised we rebuilt a few Qube1/2's upgading memory form 16MB to 128MB
and in one case we tried 256MB. Big difference in speed form 16 - 128 and
depending on what you are doing 128 to 256.
Comments, Thoughts?
TIA
