I did a quick search on Google, 'vanish.c' is a hackers file, get rid of it,
not sure about the 'van' file, but I have a feeling it may be related.

Tighten up security on the server and check the other servers while your at
it.

This is just my opinion, but opinions are like belly buttons, everyone has
at least one.
