use?

OK, I have never done one of these before but I feel compelled. :)

PLEASE SEARCH THE ARCHIVE FIRST!!

There has been a large and ongoing thread on this very subject with many
people posting detailed answers to this very question.

i have webmin running on a raq2. it works like a champ. very useful for things like procmail. if you're planning on using it as your only gui, its not as customized for the raq as say, the built in gui.

you can use them side by side, so long as you resist the temptation to use it's CPAN front end to zorch your raq gui, and so long as you understand this, changing your server settings with webmin will mess your gui way up. it will overwrite any changes it doesn't know about.

as for usermin. i don't have anyone around that should have usermin type access. i think the raq's customer gui is superior in that its far more simple, and less powerful. frankly, i don't want my customers finding out about procmail, let alone clogging my box with their own spam blocking lists, or changing other important settings. giving them cron access just sounds like a good way to have my machine hacked.

in summary, webmin good, usermin bad.
