I second the vote.  Might need a bit of script-fu, but it works
very nicely -- and uses differential transfers.

Watch out when backing up databases.  Proper procedure is to dump
to a file, then transfer that.  (Race conditions are not your
friend.)  Consider compressing the .sql file when it reaches the
machine performing the backup.

Note that the previous paragraph is general advice, and not
restricted to rsync-powered backups.
