I want to update my httpd.conf and I have 2 questions - this is on a RAQ3i
1) earlier today I did some stuff with the httpd.conf in /etc/httpd/conf -
I edited the file away from this location and put it back. But, I also had
to create a 2nd conf file that goes in /etc/httpd, not in conf directory.
When I copied files back, I believe I copied httpd.conf and my new conf
file to /etc/httpd - so now I have httpd.conf in that folder and not just
in /etc/httpd/conf - is that an error? Did I accidentally put that there
today when I was copying files back and it should be deleted (the one in
just /etc/httpd) - I'm pretty sure I did that but before I delete it I want
to be sure I should.
2) I want to incorporate this change
> edit /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
> and add the following line:
> ServerTokens ProductOnly
Where in the httpd.conf should it go - I can handle an editor, but with all
of those mean horrible nasty warning saying my 1st born will become the
next line of RAQ servers should I mess up this file, I figure I'd better
ask before just adding it someplace. Is location relevant other than
specifically named <sections> ???
I was going to put it towards the top right after:
ServerType standalone
Any problem with that?
Thanks,
Jale
