I kinda bought it to be used mainly as a velociraptor (firewall) appliance. didnt need vpn and shit but didnt think that it would be a problem, desc said "just like RH 6.2".

I could possibly install the RaQ4 OS on it and then make the necessary changes to the rc.d directory to boot up as velociraptor... will try it out.

Symantec (who bought axent who made the raptor) 'encourages' me to buy support. after spending a grand on the thing (its still quite a deal) I dont really wanna do that.

Oh-Oh sounds like the kernel doesn't support it
Are you actually using that thing as a 'velocipator;?
If not I would run a Qube3 or RaQ4 OSRCD on it
And get a regular Qube or RaQ
