I think unchecking/rechecking ASP option only modifies the httpd.conf
with the "AddHandler chiliasp .asp" for the virtual site, unlike the
FrontPage option when unchecking/rechecking does uninstall/reinstall the
extensions for a site.

I would try to restart the ASP service. Never used ASP on a Cobalt
before and is turned off, so I would ask the list to be sure... but it
might be /etc/rc.d/init.d/asp-apache-#### restart
(home/chiliasp/asp-apache-####/caspctrl stopall , startall)???  There is
also the asp-admin-#### service here.
