He (and anyone else) can also easily find the unsubscribe information by
showing full headers; as is the standard, this mailing list supports the
List-* header fields.

Not only is there an http link there, but also a simple mailto URL. I am
duplicating it at the bottom of this message for those with brain-damaged
mailer software that decides for them what header fields it will display,
instead of asking which it should hide. As a listmaster myself, I urge people
to show full headers BEFORE asking foolish questions...and NEVER send "Take
me off!" messages to the entire mailing list, since OTHER SUBSCRIBERS CANNOT
HELP YOU!!!! Contact the listed listmaster directly (it's on the page you
said wasn't any help; have you bothered to actually READ that page?).

Sorry, but as someone who routinely deals with this sort of thing, I know
how frustrating it is to provide ALL of the information necessary in various
places in every post, and then have people who don't bother looking complain
that they can't figure out what they're doing and tell you it's YOUR
responsibility to unsubscribe them.

Can't help that, now can we? If someone is foolish enough to forget with
which address he is susbcribed, there isn't much anyone can do. (On the lists
I host, this nonsense is a constant waste of time for the listmasters, doubly
so when some forwarder account in a chain of them begins to bounce.) The
whiners who use "special" list addresses on vanity domains and then can't
remember what it is are easy to deal with compared to the redirector crowd...

One of the many reasons I'm not partial to mailman. But nevermind _that_
religious war... ;)
