<snip>
the dns service of my main domain with my hosting pages doesnt
work anymore. i can make nslookup DIRECT to my raq which works
fine but all other dns servers of other providers dont resolve it.
it only affects ONE domain, all other domains which are hosted
either webspace or dns managed domains work perfect.
</snip>
Ok, was this zone recently changed? If you go to a remote server and do an nslookup adding your dns server what does it result in?
e.g.
nslookup www.faultydomain.com mydns.server.com
Have you restarted named and checked that its running correctly?
Have you any ipchains rules filtering out dns queries (port 53)
What type of entries does this zone have? A, MX, CNAME, TXT, etc?
Was the zone created via the GUI or manually?
I know most of these things would affect all domains, but if you can provide more information then somebody here will be able to help.
Regards,
Andy
